In the heart of downtown, children in this center enjoy 2 rooftop play areas, and have great opportunities to explore their urban environment. Walks to area parks and the Nicollet Mall Farmer's Market are common in warm weather. When it's too cold to go out, children play in our gym, our indoor play area, and swim in the pool. Our Nicollet Mall location provides easy access to many bus routes and other public transportation options. Our Downtown center also offers a full-day kindergarten.
The Downtown center received a Parent Aware 4-star rating (their highest rating) and has NAEYC Accreditation.

Our Midtown location offers Hennepin County's Strong Beginnings Program, which provides enhanced special needs intervention and family services. The center is located on Lake Street near Hiawatha, providing easy access to the Lake Street stop on the Hiawatha light rail line, as well as many bus routes along Lake Street. We are also only a few blocks from a Midtown Greenway access point.
The Midtown center received a Parent Aware 4-star rating (their highest rating) and has NAEYC Accreditation.

The YWCA Childrens Center at Abbott Northwestern Hospital is located inside the hospital campus. In addition to our traditional center, the Abbott Northwestern location is home to the Bungalow Business Development model, where children of various ages are taught in Spanish or Somali language immersion bungalows. Neighborhood residents work in the bungalows where they learn the business of child care. When participants complete the program they are ready to open high-quality, licensed home day care centers to support themselves and their communities.
