Fitness Classes
The YWCA of Minneapolis offers several different types of fitness classes to help you reach your specific goals.
Group Fitness Classes
Choose from a variety of
class types to meet your needs: Cardio, Core classes, Mind-body classes, Strenght training,
and Seniors/Silver Sneakers®. Group classes are free to members and are not open to non-members.

Specialty Fitness Classes
Specialty Fitness classes bring together small groups for a directed fitness experience. New class
offerings every session allow you to work with fellow students to learn at a similar pace.
Classes require advance registration and have an additional

Youth Fitness Classes
Designed to be a fun, positive experience, youth classes get your
child active and involved with other children their age.
Youth Group classes are drop-in style (no registration) and are free to all youth members.
Youth Specialty classes require a fee
and registration. They are taught by teachers with extensive skills in the area, and are taught in a progressive format where skills

Water Fitness Classes
A safe and effective way to exercise for all ages and abilities! Benefits include weight loss, muscle toning,
increased flexibilty, cardio endurance and stability. All water fitness classes are free for members,
and are drop-in style (no registration).
