YWCA Women's Triathlon
Be a part of Minnesota's only triathlon for women on August 16, 2009.
This race will bring together and support women of all ages (14+) and abilities to achieve success in this exciting sport.

YWCA Indoor Triathlons
An indoor triathlon is a perfect way for beginner to introduce themselves to the thrill
of triathlon or veterans to test their fitness without the stress and hassles of open water or wrangling with a bike.
We provide the pool and bike. You just have to swim, bike and run. Loads of fun! Learn more.

Triathlon Training Classes
Unravel the complexity of balancing triathlon training and life!
Coach-led workouts and skill sessions include swimming, biking, running, transitions and tri-specific strength and conditioning.
You will also learn effective training progressions and recovery strategies to make your progress faster, enjoyable and time
efficient. You will be able to complete an indoor triathlon or aim for a sprint distance triathlon outdoors.
Triathlon Race Skills Class
Our popular summer class that takes place at outdoor locations and focuses on specific skills needed for outdoor triathlons such as bike handling, open water swimming, transitions, gear, race day planning and more. Last day includes race day prep and a mini-practice tri! Most helpful for beginner-intermediate triathletes. Learn how to enjoy the sport to the fullest by advancing your skills and learning the tricks of the tri! Led by Paul Johnson, USA Triathlon certified coach.
Choose from 3 sessions:
- Meets Sundays, June 7, 14, 21 & 28; Lake Nokomis, 1-3pm
- Meets Tuesdays and Thursdays, June 16, 18, 23 & 25; Lake Nokomis, 6:30-8:30pm
- Meets Sundays, Aug 2 & 9; Baker Park, 8am-12pm
Price: $80 members, $96 non-members. Each session is limited to 20 participants.

Women's Triathlon Course Preview Workshop
Knowing the course is one of the best strategies for beginners and competitive triathletes alike. Get a visual of the swim, walk the transition area, and bike the run and bike courses. You don't have to be registered for the Women's Triathlon to do this workshop, so bring a friend or join us for the fun of it. Led by Paul Johnson, co-race director and USA Triathlon certified coach.
Choose from 2 sessions:
- Wednesday, July 15; Baker Park, 6:30-8:30pm
- Sunday, August 2; Baker Park, 1-3pm
Price: $20. Each session is limited to 25 participants.
