2k starts at 10:00 a.m.
Race will start at 28th Street and 21st Avenue.
Price: 8k and 5k are $20; 2k is $15Day of race registration will be available for an additional $5.
Children under 5 years old race for free.

Saturday, Sept. 16th, go to the Uptown Running Room store and pickup packets from 12-5pm or pick up at the race.

The YWCA of Minneapolis Racial Justice department exists to eliminate the barriers that perpetuate racism by focusing on healing from and understanding the effects of racism, connecting people, and creating change through practical solutions. The Racial Justice department offers a variety of programs including public forums, Community Dialogues, Unlearning Racism Workshops, and facilitation trainings. The next major event is the annual It's Time to Talk Forums on Race luncheon on November 1, 2006. The Midtown Greenway will connect the Chain of Lakes to the Mississippi River with nonstop biking and walking paths,providing pollution-free transportation and connecting recreational, cultural and historic amenities.
