Check-In begins at 8:00 a.m.

Race Start Times:
8k starts at 9:00 a.m.
5k starts at 9:15 a.m.
2k starts at 10:00 a.m.
Race will start at 28th Street and 21st Avenue.

Peace Coffee Logo Price: 8k and 5k are $20; 2k is $15
Day of race registration will be available for an additional $5.
Children under 5 years old race for free.

Registration:
Registration will continue until race is full. Estimated cap 300.
  • Register in person at any YWCA of Mpls location or Running Room store in Minneapolis.
  • Register online through the Running Room website
  • Download, print and mail the registration form and payment (Mail deadline is August 31)

    For race information contact Ann Haugejorde at 612 215-4341 There will be two race packet pickup opportunities. Saturday, Sept. 16th, go to the Uptown Running Room store and pickup packets from 12-5pm or pick up at the race.

    Proceeds benefit the YWCA of Minneapolis Racial Justice Programs and the Midtown Greenway Coalition.

    The YWCA of Minneapolis Racial Justice department exists to eliminate the barriers that perpetuate racism by focusing on healing from and understanding the effects of racism, connecting people, and creating change through practical solutions. The Racial Justice department offers a variety of programs including public forums, Community Dialogues, Unlearning Racism Workshops, and facilitation trainings. The next major event is the annual It's Time to Talk Forums on Race luncheon on November 1, 2006.     The Midtown Greenway will connect the Chain of Lakes to the Mississippi River with nonstop biking and walking paths,providing pollution-free transportation and connecting recreational, cultural and historic amenities. The Midtown Greenway Coalition is the grassroots group representing community interests and inviting your involvement in this community based and publicly funded project. The Coalition promotes environmental values, civic leadership and Greenway friendly development as well as personal health and physical activity through the Greenway To Go Program.
