School Break / Release Day Programs
On days when your child is out of school - for a release day, or Winter or Spring break - the School Release Day and Camp program offers full-day programming with activities, field trips, swimming and more.

The Release Day and Camp program schedule is based on the Minneapolis Public Schools schedule.

Hours and Locations
Release Day Programming
Hours: 9:00 am - 4:00 pm
Location: Midtown, Room 155/156
Before and After Camp Care
7:30 - 9:00 am and 4:00-5:30 pm
Location: Fit Kids Gym
Parents are responsible for bringing their child(ren) to the appropriate location depending on when they are dropping off.
Costs
There are differnt pricing options depending on the number of days you register for.
Before and After Care
Enjoy extra time when you need it! These sessions outside of the daily programming are great for parents who need an extra cushion of time to get to and from work. This supervised free time is held in the Fit Kids Gym and is an optional service included in your rate.

Register Now!
- Register and pay in person at the Midtown front desk or call 612-215-4333 ext 0. Payment must be made in full by cash, credit card, or check to guarantee a spot. Payment is due in full prior to each day or weekly start. You can also download and print the registration form.
- Pick up a release day packet from the Midtown front desk. Return completed packets to Attn: Sheri Hoernemann at the Midtown YWCA, 2121 E. Lake St, Minneapolis, 55407. After your registration and payment are processed, you will receive enrollment confirmation.
- By registering for a camp, you are committing to full payment for everything registered, regardless of actual attendance.
Note: All fees are required regardless of attendance and are non-refundable. Minimum registration requirements must be met 2 weeks prior to each start date.
Scholarships are available and paperwork must be filled out to determine eligibility. (First come, first serve.)
