The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) states that racism, both structural and interpersonal, has a direct, negative effect on the mental and physical health of millions of people in America. This is even more intensified as our nation continues to face the intersecting crises of COVID-19 and racism.
Race Against Racism is an opportunity for us to come together in the spirit of health and solidarity to raise awareness of this crisis and support YWCA’s Racial Justice programs. Together, we can promote health and wellness for all.
Become an ambassador and raise awareness and funds that propel our mission forward! Ambassadors receive tools, templates, personalized support and great perks to help meet their fundraising goals. Your $40 registration fee will automatically go toward your fundraising goal.

We acknowledge that YWCA facilities and this event take place on Indigenous land. The Dakota, Anishinaabe and Indigenous people from other Native nations lived here for thousands of years before being removed through genocide, ethnic cleansing and forced removal. We wish to pay respects to these communities, both past and present.
