YWCA provides a range of free and pay yoga classes ranging from entry-level to advanced.

Elevate your mind, mood and body through lessons focused on yoga and other simple physical movements.

Focus on moving your body with attention to the breath allowing greater relaxation, restoration and renewal. Classes are designed to create a feeling of steadiness, comfort and ease throughout body, breath and mind.

Adaptive Yoga

This class is paced for those with chronic illness concerns, primarily those with Multiple Sclerosis or other autoimmune diseases, including mobility limitations or the need to work slowly or those engaged in injury rehabilitation. This class is endorsed by the Minnesota MS Society.

Gentle Yoga

Practice founded on moving body with the breath. Classes are designed to create a feeling of steadiness, comfort and ease through out body, breath and mind. Participants in this class should feel comfortable being on hands and knees and getting up and down from the floor. No previous yoga experience required.

Gentle Yoga Chair

Practice founded on moving body with the breath. Classes are designed to create a feeling of steadiness, comfort and ease through out body, breath and mind. Participants in this class should feel comfortable being on hands and knees and getting up and down from the floor. In addition to a good stretch, chair yoga will help you feel better, move better, and live better. No previous yoga experience required.

Hatha Yoga

Designed as an entry-level class, this class features slow-paced postures with some simple breathing exercises. This is a good place to learn basic poses and relaxation techniques, and to become comfortable with yoga.

Hot Hatha Yoga

Hot hatha classes take place in 85-95 degree studios. This class will stretch, strengthen and tone muscle while detoxifying the body and calming the mind. Each class will also consist of a pre-determined set of postures, including a standing and floor series. Prior yoga experience recommended.

Hot Vinyasa Yoga

This class will stretch, strengthen and tone the muscles while detoxifying the body and calming the mind. Classes take place in a 95 degree temperature studio. Students should have some prior Yoga experience. This is a fee-based class and requires a program pass to attend. Learn more.

Hot Yoga Chisel

Take your yoga training to the next level! With the addition of free weights, this heated (90 degree) class will strengthen, tone and stretch all major muscle groups. Set to motivating music, the high intensity class will challenge your endurance, burn calories and boost your metabolism. Prior hot yoga experience recommended.

Class Length 60 mins

Power Yoga

Our most advanced level of yoga, this class may include inversions, binds and advanced movements while stressing the importance of anatomy and alignment. Class Length: 55 minutes. Power Yoga Plus class is 90 minutes
