Open to everyone! People can pick up food and supplies at YWCA Midtown (2121 East Lake Street, Minneapolis, MN 55407).
YWCA Midtown’s Pop-Up Distribution Center has moved to an online reservation system to help ensure the safety and comfort of our community members, and to prevent the spread of coronavirus. The reservation link will be updated every Sunday at noon to sign up for the following Wednesday and Saturday.
We rely on donations from the community and may not have every kit or personal care item available. We will make every effort to fulfill your request for additional supplies.
Need help making a reservation? Email us at email@example.com or call 612-348-2193 to request assistance in your preferred language. Because we may be busy serving other residents, please feel free to leave a message. Someone will call back within 24 hours.
We are looking for volunteers to help organize food, take inventory and build care packages! There are opportunities for both groups and individuals.
We are collecting items Monday – Friday 12:00 pm – 5:00 pm, and Saturdays 9:00 am – 4:00 pm at YWCA Midtown. Below is a list of items we are accepting for supply kits (new and unused only). No food is needed at this time. Donations will be accepted at the Minneapolis Sports Center main door entrance and staged in the south end.
