YWCA Minneapolis Wins Green Cost Share Award
December 2, 2019
The Green Cost Share Awards recognize businesses, organizations, individuals, and partners for their commitment to the health of the people of Minneapolis and for fighting climate change.
This year, the City of Minneapolis recognized a variety of projects that reflect the breadth of energy efficiency, solar energy and local air pollution reduction work being done across Minneapolis.
YWCA Minneapolis was awarded the Cost Share Award for updating YWCA Midtown’s HVAC automation system, which allows the building to use only as much energy is needed to keep our members and guests comfortable, cutting down on greenhouse gas emissions while saving energy costs so that we can better deliver on our mission.
