YWCA Give to the Max Day

Children at YWCA Minneapolis are destined for bright futures. With your support, they’ll get there!

Children who receive a high-quality early childhood education are provided an abundant learning environment where they can explore, problem-solve and be introduced to healthy new experiences that prepare them for the world.

35,000 Children Without Access to Early Childhood Education

But there are many children in Minnesota who aren’t provided this opportunity. Close the Gap reports that there are 35,000 low-income children under the age of five in Minnesota who cannot access early learning programs. Parents all over Minnesota see the importance of early childhood education and eagerly seek the opportunity for their children.

Give to the Max Day Challenge

Give to the Max Day, an annual day of giving in Minnesota which raises millions of dollars for charities and nonprofits each year is Thursday, November 15! This year, all Give to the Max Day donations go toward scholarships for children in our Early Childhood Education programs, which help make our early learning programs accessible to all.

This year, you can get involved in two ways:

  • Donate a gift of any amount now through Thursday, November 15.

Every donation enters us into a drawing to win up to $10,000 through GiveMN.org and your gift will be DOUBLED up to $4,000 by our generous match partners, Pinnacle Performance Group and RJM Construction.

  • Register for Cycle to the Max on Thursday, November 15 at YWCA Uptown for $20.00 and enjoy a good workout while giving back!

All those who donate will be entered into a drawing to win a free six-month YWCA fitness membership!

Thank you for your support on Give to the Max Day! With you, children can start their lives with the skills to be successful and imagine a future where anything is possible.
