What is your favorite workout and why?
Soccer games! It doesn’t feel like you’re working out – it’s more like having fun with friends. Playing uses every muscle in the body. Chase a ball around a field!
What do you consider your greatest fitness accomplishment?
Changing my career to health and fitness. I’m eager each day to see where this journey takes me, and excited to look back years from now and see how far I’ve come.
What is your biggest athletic goal?
To recover from injury and recondition, and to keep up in competitive soccer with those 10-15 years younger than me.
What is your biggest goal outside of the gym?
Outside of the gym my second favorite hobby is music – performing, singing and recording. I have a short-term goal of getting a set recorded and out to as many ears as possible. In the long-term, my goal would be to expand my style and perform intimate, acoustic duet.
What do you do on your rest days?
A rest day is best spent with my best friend and future husband. If I can’t spend it with him, I’ll spend time on improving myself with a workout, meditating, reading, writing or researching.
