A Roaring Good Time! A Virtual African Safari

May 9, 2022

YWCA Minneapolis recently partnered with PNC Bank this spring to offer children in our Early Childhood Education Program engaging and educational opportunities.

Virtual African Safari

As part of PNC’s Grow Up Great program, preschool children in our ECE Program had the opportunity to go on a virtual African safari. Led by their safari guide and with binoculars in hand, children learned about and viewed five different animals in their natural habitat: elephants, lions, leopards, giraffes and meerkats.

"I liked the binoculars because they made the animals bigger." — YWCA Early Learner

"The giraffe has a long purple tongue that he licks his nose with. " — YWCA Early Learner
