Rae Wellness: A Strong, Smart and Bold Partner

Rae Wellness is a women-led and values-driven company, with a goal to make well-being attainable and accessible for all. It deeply believes in being socially conscious, which is why Rae donates 5% of its revenue to Girls Inc. programs across the country. These programs inspire girls to be strong, smart and bold through direct service and advocacy.

A Reliable Resource for Our Youth

Since joining Girls Inc. programming in 2019, Rae Wellness has been a constant and reliable resource for our girls. One example: introducing its Shine Culture, a wellness philosophy, to our organization during a time when many of us, especially our girls, were seeking outlets that were positive, inclusive, mentoring and safe.

Bringing Shine Culture to Life

To help bring its Shine Culture to life, Rae virtually met with our Eureka! participants and presented a “Shine Challenge,” a week-long initiative that stems from the brand’s Shine Culture that encouraged girls to find moments of inner peace and hope, while dedicating time for self-care.Aside from teaching the practice of self-care, Rae has provided our girls access to its leaders, mentoring them about life and career. Recently, Rae’s CEO and co-founder participated in Women of the Week, a series where women leaders talk candidly about their professional and personal journeys, and four other Rae’s employees participated in a panel discussion, sharing their day-to-day activities and their work/life experiences.

Understanding their Potential for Success

Through the Q&A session, the girls heard first-hand about the panelists’ careers, but also what defines them as individuals. This allowed for our girls to better understand their potential for success. Before the end of the summer our newest Eureka! participants will get to participate in a second “Shine Challenge” with Rae.We are excited to have such an engaged partner like Rae Wellness, and appreciate their time, talent and treasures shared with our girls. Rae exemplifies the values of YWCA Minneapolis and Girls Inc. Rae is a strong, smart and bold partner!Learn More about YWCA Girls Inc. ProgramsDonate to YWCA Minneapolis
