"I love working with YWCA Minneapolis because I feel like I make a difference in the lives of the children we serve." ~ Denise, Lead Teacher
“I love the bonds I am able to build with many of the youth in my role with YWCA. The best part of working with them is when they come back to visit the program and tell you how much you have influenced their life in positive ways.” ~ Shanika, Youth Program Coordinator
“I enjoy what I do. I get great satisfaction in helping someone learn to swim. I did this as a young person in high school and college and knew that when I retired, this would be something I would like to continue. I am fortunate to be doing this activity at such a great organization.” ~Ed, Swim Instructor
“The relationships you develop with others is the best part of the job.” ~ Nina, Volunteer Coordinator
“What I love most about working at YWCA is the people. Our staff are easy to work with, outgoing and energetic. And our members make every day exciting.” ~ Dan, Membership Accountant
"The excitement and adoration the children exude toward what they get to eat (and toward myself!) make me appreciate the opportunity I have to work with YWCA. It brings a smile to my face every day." ~ Steven, Early Childhood Education Chef
“No one ever wishes they hadn’t come to their group fitness class. It’s an amazing feeling to know I can make others feel a whole lot better about life in less than an hour in my role with YWCA." ~ Kelli, Group Fitness Coordinator
“I love the team I am blessed to work with every day. I enjoy ensuring families are happy with our program and being here to serve the teachers with resources that can make them successful in their roles.” ~ Andrew, Assistant Director, Early Childhood Education
