Strong Fast Fit

Strong Fast Fit welcomes youth ages 7-17 to learn about and practice wellness through play, movement, meals and relationships with peers and trusted adults. The afterschool programming occurs within a group setting: youth from similar backgrounds – ethnic, racial, and/or cultural – gather to celebrate, discover and explore food and wellness within cultural traditions (past and present).

Strong Fast Fit groups specifically welcome youth who identify as BIPOC – including:

  • Latino (Latinx, Latine, Hispanic/Hispano)

  • Native American (Indigenous)

  • East African

  • African American (Black and Brown bodies)

Registration is now closed.

What youth are saying

“I get to work out, be in the nutrition program and swim. I ran a one-mile race in February. I started off fast and then stopped and had to walk, but I finished and succeeded. I’ve learned how to be strong no matter how hard times get. I eat healthy foods, I’m more energetic, and I’m not a couch potato anymore. I feel a lot better about myself since joining Strong Fast Fit.” — Kiyanne, age 13, Strong Fast Fit participant
