Thank You for Celebrating 25 Years of Circle of Women

In 1997, the first Circle of Women fundraiser gathered 500 women to celebrate their power and to develop women as philanthropists in the community. This year, we celebrated 25 years of this event, the lives changed and the progress made over the decades with the support of Circle of Women attendees. For this special anniversary event, we were delighted to have news anchor Gia Vang emcee the event with an enlightening keynote address by Kishshana Palmer, discussing how we've changed during the pandemic and how we can move forward together.Watch the Keynote:We were honored to present our fourth annual Woman of Power award to Maria Regan Gonzalez, a Minnesota leader who embodies the values and mission of YWCA Minneapolis through her extraordinary commitment to social and racial equity, dignity, justice and peace.Watch Maria Regan Gonzalez's Acceptance Speech:One of the standout moments of the evening was hearing the voices of past Circle of Women speakers.
