Funding Pathways to Early Learning Success

Thanks to supporters like you, we can fund scholarships that create pathways of access to early learning opportunities for preschool children ages 3-5 through YWCA Minneapolis Early Childhood Education programs.

We need your help to award approximately 125 scholarships for each of the next three years to help families provide consistent, quality early childhood education for their preschoolers.

Continuing to Close the Opportunity Gap

YWCA Minneapolis is committed to making full-time, high-quality early childhood education accessible for families from all races, ethnicities, cultures and incomes.

The impact is clear, our work is closing the opportunity gap in our child care centers:

95% of children, infant through kindergarten, are on track with age-appropriate development
94% of preschoolers meet rigorous early learning standards for school readiness
72% of children are children of color
66% of children are living in low-income households at or below 200% of federal poverty guidelines
