Strong Fast Fit

Strong Fast Fit welcomes BIPOC youth ages 7-17 to learn and practice holistic health through play, movement, meals, sports, field trips and relationship building with peers and trusted adults.

The afterschool and summer programming occurs within a group setting: youth from similar backgrounds – ethnic, racial, and/or cultural – gather to celebrate, discover and explore food and wellness within past and present cultural traditions.

  • Program Dates: Sept. 22-Dec. 12

  • Schedule: Monday through Thursday, 4-7 pm

  • Ages: Open to youth ages 7–17

Participating families receive a FREE YWCA Minneapolis health and wellness family membership!

Youth report making healthy food choices and an improved overall diet

Families increase their use of meal planning and healthy eating

Youth engage in moderate to high level physical activity at least two times per week for 30 minutes
