Kathryn Timm

Retired Attorney

Kathryn Timm is a retired attorney who spent more than 40 years in public service, including more than three decades with the Anoka County Attorney's Office. During her career, she served in the criminal, juvenile and civil divisions, with expertise in juvenile delinquency, child protection, appellate advocacy, government contracting, public purchasing and municipal legal counsel.

Kathryn earned a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Montana and a Juris Doctor from the University of Kansas. She has lived in the Twin Cities since 1988.

She has served on numerous public and nonprofit boards and community organizations, including the St. Paul District 5 Planning Council, Centennial Area Education Foundation, and Centennial School Board, where she served two elected terms.
