Katie Schoeneck
Client Centricity Consultant at Thrivent Financial
Katie Schoeneck is currently a client centricity consultant at Thrivent Financial in the Insights and Strategy Department, where she utilizes her superpower of shaping a story through information and data to advance organizational strategies. Previously, she spent over 14 years working in the accounting and finance sectors for both not-for-profit and for-profit organizations. Before working in finance, she interned and volunteered at numerous theatre companies in Minnesota and Illinois.
She holds an MBA from the University of St. Thomas and an undergraduate degree with dual majors in Theatre and Communication Studies, earning honors from Gustavus Adolphus College. Outside of work, Katie enjoys playing soccer, attending local theatre productions, traveling whenever she can, and spending time with her husband, David, and their four cats.
Katie is deeply committed to advancing equity, justice and empowerment. She passionately supports the fight to eliminate racism, uplift women and ensure dignity and freedom for all. Now more than ever, she believes these values demand bold action—and she’s eager to be part of that work through the YWCA.
