At the 2016 U.S. Paralympic Trials in Charlotte, 19‑year‑old YWCA Minneapolis Otters swimmer Natalie Sims faced the most pivotal race of her career. With a national team qualifying time seemingly out of reach, she delivered a stunning performance fueled by grit, emotion, and years of relentless training.
