YWCA Minneapolis will host a free co-ed youth basketball clinic led by Minnesota Timberwolves guard Jaylen Clark. Jaylen’s camp focuses on imparting skills, techniques, discipline and most importantly, fun. He wants the kids to nurture their passion and drive, taking them wherever they strive to be. Jaylen knows basketball is not the only skill the kids will need to achieve success.
Date: Saturday, Aug. 2
Time: 10 am-2 pm. Registration starts at 9:30 am
Location: Midtown/Minneapolis Sports Center
Cost: FREE
Space is limited - there are 25 spots for each age group: 10-11, 12-13, 14-15 and 16-17.
ABOUT JAYLEN CLARK
Jaylen Clark is a dynamic wing who plays basketball in the NBA for the Minnesota Timberwolves. He is a University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) alumnus and a native of the Inland Empire. Jaylen, lovingly known as JROCK, was raised in Corona, California. Jaylen’s mission is to uplift and support the community that supported him, promote positivity and educate through the sport that he loves, basketball. He understands that hard work, determination and perseverance along with support, can help a kid rise above their current circumstance.
