Practice Tri Skills: One Hour Indoor Mini Tri

Triathlons are an incredible sport. The combination of running, swimming and biking is a powerful way to challenge your body, support your health and experience a strong sense of personal accomplishment.

Whether you are participating in YWCA Minneapolis Women’s Triathlon or another race around the Twin Cities — or simply want to try something new — our One-Hour Indoor Mini Tri is a supportive, low-pressure way to practice stacking all three activities and moving through transitions.

This non-competitive event is open to all genders, ages 11 and older, and welcomes both beginners and experienced athletes. You’ll complete a 10-minute pool swim, transition in the locker room, enjoy a 30-minute indoor bike ride, and finish with a 15-minute run or walk.

No times are recorded, and you’ll track your own distance. The focus is on learning, confidence and experiencing the flow of a triathlon..
