Physical Activity Pathways for Women of Color

Physical Activity Pathways for Women of Color

Advancing Pain Reduction, Mental Wellness and Physical Health

Join Dr. Liz Ramos-Young, a mobile physical therapist, for an empowering discussion on how movement and physical activity can support physical and mental well-being.

This session will explore how strength training, movement and regular physical activity can help reduce pain, improve mental wellness and support long-term health outcomes for women of color.

Drawing on both clinical expertise and a community-centered approach, Dr. Liz will share practical strategies that fit real life, regardless of age, income or ability level.

Participants will leave with simple, sustainable tools to:

  • Feel stronger and more confident in movement

  • Reduce pain and support long-term physical health

  • Prioritize mental wellness through physical activity

  • Build healthy habits that work in everyday life
