Pollinator Frenzy: A Celebration of Native Pollinators
Join us for a vibrant, family-friendly event celebrating the beauty and importance of our native pollinators through art, dance, music and education!
A towering 16-foot cinema screen will showcase breathtaking close-up footage of bees, butterflies and other pollinators gathering nectar in local flower gardens. Meanwhile, the Pollinator Frenzy dancers will help visitors transform into pollinators with handmade wings, oversized antennae and big bug-eye costumes.
As Flight of the Bumblebee by Rimsky-Korsakov fills the air, everyone is invited to buzz along to a playful, easy-to-follow, choreographed dance set to the fun and educational "Pollination Rap." Then join in a lively dance party featuring music by Cajun Crawfish Hotdish throughout the day. This pollinator experience happens every hour, with featured performances by the Pollinator Frenzy dancers at 1 pm, 2 pm and 3 pm.
Throughout the event, learn more about native pollinators and sustainable gardening practices at educational tables hosted by:

Don't miss the Postcard Scavenger Hunt on the colorful Pollen ArtCar, find native pollinators hidden in the artwork and win packs of annual flower seeds as prizes!
