YWCA Minneapolis Names Linda Domholt Chief Development Officer to Advance Mission-Driven Fundraising

YWCA Minneapolis is pleased to welcome Linda Domholt as its new Chief Development Officer. Domholt is passionate about building partnerships that fuel lasting change. With over 20 years of experience, she brings a strategic, relationship-driven approach to fundraising—grounded in data, empathy and a deep respect for community voice. 

“Linda will lead with passion, strategic vision and a deep commitment to the individuals we serve. Her demonstrated success in leading capital campaigns and securing funds to expand literacy across Minnesota will help us achieve and advance our mission,” said Shelley Carthen Watson, YWCA Minneapolis president and CEO. “She brings a gift for matching passionate new donors with opportunities to drive systemic change.”  

Before joining YWCA Minneapolis, Domholt served as Vice President of Advancement at Groves Learning Organization, where she led a $26 million capital campaign and helped secure more than $22 million to expand literacy access across Minnesota. Prior to that, she was Vice President of Development at Perspectives, Inc., where she supported families healing from homelessness, addiction and mental health challenges—an experience that reinforced her belief in holistic, trauma-informed, family-centered solutions.
