Winter Clothing/Gear Drive

Help Keep Your Community Warm with a Simple Act of Kindness

We’re proud to partner with One Good Deed on our annual Winter Clothing Drive! From Nov. 1–Dec. 8, donate new or gently used clothing for YWCA Minneapolis Children’s Centers and cold-weather gear for unhoused families in local parks.

Your donation will help keep kids, families, and neighbors warm this winter — one simple act of kindness at a time.

About One Good Deed

One Good Deed began when a small group of neighborhood moms turned their monthly get-togethers into opportunities to give back. What started with building little libraries inspired by founder Michelle Christensen’s passion for youth literacy has grown into a thriving volunteer network spreading kindness across the Twin Cities.

Its signature event, the annual Scarf Bombing, began with a handful of donated gloves and has evolved into a large community effort providing warm winter items to those in need each January. Throughout the year, One Good Deed hosts monthly kindness projects that bring people together, foster friendship and strengthen community.
